Rachael Smith
Just great! A new interiors photographer to swoon over. Rachael Smith is a London-based artist whose images are absolutely incredible. I'm partial to her interiors, and the design aesthetics she typically captures. So clean and sophisticated. And always so sunny and warm, no matter how empty the room. I could sit for hours looking through these pictures. The interiors of some of these homes are just amazing and really quite inspiring. Take a look through her site. Some beautiful European homes.
Warning: CHEESE
I was perusing the Etsy easter list and found some of the happiest little crafts ever. I probably would never make a single one of these, but I am so unbelievably pleased that there are people out there who do. I'm in awe of the perfect balance of craftiness and pure cheese. Yay Easter!

Factory 20
There IS something cool in Virginia! Only kidding to any of you Virginianites out there who may read this (doubtful). Anyways, Factory 20 is this amazingly awesome industrial furniture design collective that has some of the coolest pieces I've ever seen. The prices are way out of my meager price range, but the pictures are enough for me. They photograph them beautifully. Some of these pieces are over a hundred and fifty years old. Take a peak.

Blue Plate
During a work trip out to LA in February... I fell in love. Not with any starving actor or brilliant screenwriter... but with a tiny seafood and oyster bar restaurant in Santa Monica called Blue Plate. The place is incredible. From their laundry list of daily oyster specials, to it's beachy/distressed decor, to the ridiculously friendly (and helpful!) wait staff, Blue Plate is easily one of my most favorite restaurants now. If you happen to venture to the LA area, please stop by and have some oysters, white wine, and their hot fudge sundae desert. Delish.
Je suis désolé
I've been a bad blogger! But here's a mini update: I've moved! Officially a New Yorker now, living in a cozy 3-bedroom apartment in Gramercy. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I cannot be more thrilled. I actually skipped and puddle jumped to work yesterday, out of pure delight. Hope you've all been well.
Chandeliers
This post is dedicated to my new roomie... who has inspired me to do a post about how absolutely adorable chandeliers can be. She recently just put one up in our new apartment and it truly makes her room so much more personal and elegant. And it really does change a harsh lighting scheme in a room, to a much more tolerable and soft dim. Here are a couple examples that I've found and loved.
