Greetings from Soho!

I've been telling my sister and brother in law that I NEED to do a post about their ADORABLE Soho apartment... so today's the day! Welcome to the warmest, coziest, and loveliest apartment on Spring Street. From their reading nook, to their new leather wing back, they have packed their home with beautiful pieces of art, cherished photos, and meaningful treasures. They have really done a beautiful job turning a small space into an absolute getaway when you're there. They both have a great eye and have really collected some great pieces throughout the years. Well done, Antenna!

Chairs

Some really awesome chair designs from Colonel. Saw these on Mint and had to share.

A whole lot of eating going on...

September has been a foodie month. Lots and lots of wonderful New York food. October will be a posting month, I promise. Each and every one of these restaurants was delightful, and not all extremely expensive either. Little by little we're tackling the NYC restaurant scene!
Lantern. Savore. Balthazar. BLT Fish. Posto. Eataly. Shorty's 32.

Feels like Fall...

And only a few short weeks until my West Coast holiday!

Miles Redd

Some Friday inspiration from the incredible Miles Redd. He truly has such a sophisticated and classic style, with such a refined balance about his work. Picture perfect.

Alexandra Ferguson

I don't usually particularly LOVE the whole "words on pillows" motif, but I believe Alexandra Ferguson's pieces are my exception to that rule. I think pillows like these could be fantastic accents in any living room with bold colors. I think the trick is to just not use too many of them. If you walk into a room and there are one or two of these "phrase pillows" scattered on a wing chair or sofa, you actually notice them, and then can appreciate them more in their environment. When I see too many in a room I think Britney Spears and her infamous phrase t-shirts. Too much? I also like how Alexander calls her business "A sassy little pillow company". English Muffin likes too! Happy Friday, guys!

Marcel the Shell

This needs WAY more hits than it currently has. She's just wonderful.
